Keep insulin cool but not ice cold.

🛫 Before the trip

Distribute diabetes equipment into different bags (in case something gets lost)

Inform fellow travelers about how to help in case of an emergency

Check time zones if you are traveling long distances (insulin doses may need to be adjusted)

Check blood sugar more often when in the sun, swimming, or active

Keep in mind that physical activity can cause delayed sensation
